INTRODUCTION

  This document, activities of donor- financed projects in Yobe state present detailed information on the activities of donor-financed projects/programmes in Yobe state. This document is a product of His Excellency, Governor Mamman B. Ali’s initiative who convened a meeting of all donor-financed projects in the state, with a view to harmonizing their activities on 12th March, 2008.
  Consequently, for the first time, all donor-financed projects came together under one umbrella to have a better understanding of one another’s activities.
  The areas of activities of donor-projects presented in the document are aimed at achieving harmonization through the creation of synergies and maximum use of limited source transparently, and accountably for sustainable poverty reduction in all the Local Government Areas of the State.
  The document is divided into 5 categories and each category provides detailed information on individual donor-financed projects. Also a chart is provided which shows the areas of activities of the projects and area of overlaps. These overlaps provide areas of harmonization opportunities so as to achieve maximum benefits.
